Encountering Christ
Catholicism is central to our mission. For this reason, every school day includes Mass. We teach theology out of the Bible, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and papal documents. Other important ways we live the faith include annual pilgrimages and retreats, modest and wholesome extracurricular activities, and sacred art and crucifixes adorn the hall and the classrooms.
Faith in Our School
- Daily Mass
- Weekly opportunities for Adoration
- Retreats, Confession, and Spiritual Formation
- Faith incorporated into every subject
- Chaplains or regular visits from priests and religious
TRADITIONS & CV EVENTS
As a newly founded school, Chesterton Academy of The Divine Family is excited to establish meaningful traditions that foster faith, joy, and community. While we are just beginning our journey, we are committed to creating a vibrant student life filled with
retreats, celebrations, and special events
that will become beloved aspects of our school culture.
From faith-filled retreats to seasonal celebrations, we look forward to shaping experiences that will deepen our students' formation in faith, virtue, and fellowship. As we grow, students will have the unique opportunity to help shape and establish traditions that will define our school for years to come.
By joining Chesterton Academy of The Divine Family, students will not only receive a rich classical education but also become part of a joyful and faith-centered community where lifelong memories and traditions are made.
These events foster community, faith, and fellowship, celebrating important seasons and themes throughout the school year.
Family Day Retreat
To begin the school year with faith, fellowship, and community, Chesterton Academy of The Divine Family invites students and their families to participate in our Family Day Retreat. This special gathering is designed to bring together all families, setting the tone for a joyful and faith-filled year.
Guided by faculty, staff, and school leaders, families will engage in outdoor activities, team-building exercises, prayer, and reflection. Through shared experiences, parents and students will strengthen their bond with one another, deepen their faith, and immerse themselves in the mission and spirit of Chesterton Academy of the Divine family.

House System
Chesterton Academy’s House system is drawn from the 1,000 year-old tradition of Christian education exemplified in the colleges at Oxford and Cambridge. The Houses provide real, tangible community within the larger school, giving students the opportunity to take ownership, fulfill the call to leadership, and to cultivate the ideal conditions for virtue. Each House has two Senior and two Junior prefects, two faculty advisors, and several parent liaisons.
